Laura Browne

Chief Effectiveness Officer

Laura is a co-founder of Covalent Bonds and serves as CEO (Chief Effectiveness Officer). She started Covalent Bonds in 2017 with more than 15 years’ experience in life science and healthcare marketing. Before founding Covalent Bonds, Laura held senior roles at The Scott Partnership, Phoenix Marcom, and Gardiner Cauldwell. Laura also serves on the Board of the Massachusetts North Shore Technology Council and heads up its Bioscience Special Interest Group.  Laura holds a B.S. in psychology from The University of Newcastle and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from Nottingham Law School.


Olga Torres

Chief Optimization Officer

Olga is a co-founder of Covalent Bonds and serves as COO (Chief Optimization Officer). Olga founded Targeted Life Science Marketing in 2017, and joined forces with Covalent Bonds in 2018. With almost 20 years experience in the industry, Olga started her career in the lab as a bench scientist. She worked at Boston University Medical Center and Duke University before transitioning to roles in technical sales and marketing at a range of life science companies, including Averica Discovery, Kelly Scientific Services, and MorphoSys US. She received her B.S. in Biology from the University of New England. In the past, Olga volunteered with the North Shore Technology Council Bioscience Special Interest Group and the American Society for Quality (ASQ) Boston chapter. She currently serves as a marketing volunteer for the Society of Sales and Marketing Professionals in Science (SAMPS), and as a Hack.Diversity mentor.


Heather Fysh

Director of Insights

Heather serves as Director of Insights at Covalent Bonds and has more than 10 years of experience in media and marketing analytics and measurement. Heather joined Covalent Bonds in 2018 and has consulted with blue-chip brands on the impact of their marketing communications. Heather has strong knowledge of professional (specifically marketing) data and extensive experience with measurement and optimization of media and marketing investments. Heather previously held senior roles at industry leading measurement companies such as KD Paine and Partners, Salience Insight and Glean. Heather holds a Masters in Computer Information Systems, Database Management and Business Intelligence from Boston University, and a B.S. in Business Administration, Management and Operations.


Claire England

Director of Efficiency

Claire serves as the Director of Efficiency at Covalent Bonds, where she oversees the company’s clients and marketing effectiveness. Claire joined Covalent Bonds in 2018 following over 20 years of experience in client and project management and social media impact. Claire spent 14 years at life science marketing agencies Kapler Communications and Phoenix Marcom and holds a Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.


Kera Hartlen

Marketing Data Scientist

Kera serves as the Marketing Data Scientist at Covalent Bonds, She joined the team in 2019, bringing with her 5+ years of experience as a database administrator working in the audience & media measurement market. Along with her database administrative skills, she brings data modelling, statistical, and predictive analysis with the use of python programming. She previously held roles in media measurement and analytics at Salience Insight (now Carma) and Glean. Kera is currently studying for her Associate's Degree in Information Technology. While her major mainly involves computer and network security, she is focusing on gaining more statistical knowledge throughout her academic career.
