Scientific Marketing Manager

We are looking for a results oriented Scientific Marketing Manager to join our team. The Scientific Marketing Manager contributes to the company’s mission to provide fast-moving, data-focused marketing programs to science industries by developing brand strategies for clients specific to their scientific market niche. The successful candidate will know which marketing initiatives help to achieve the client’s business goals. They will work with internal and external partners to ensure projects are completed.
- Acquire a deep understanding of our client’s industry value, applications, technologies, and competition
- Determine relevant marketing initiatives as related to client strategies business objectives
- Guide others to build and execute a well-written marketing plan.
- Develop presentations and lead marketing strategy meetings with clients
- Associate strategic plans with measurable objectives and adjust strategies, as needed, based on the results to date.
- Work with account manager to deliver strategic marketing programs that achieve client objectives on time and on budget
- Brief the development of marketing content that strengthens value, and approve content before it goes to client
- Act as a scientific subject matter expert, ensuing that marketing efforts are scientifically accurate
- Actively contribute to client and internal meetings
- Advise on how we engage with customers to drive relevance, distinctiveness, and growth

- Is comfortable engaging across teams to gather information and input for digital marketing efforts
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative, open environment
- Great communicator who can distill information in to exciting and digestible messages
- Is a demonstrated, excellent writer who enjoys crafting compelling content
- Is a multi-tasker and able to manage concurrent projects
- Experience in B2B marketing to scientific audience (Either 5 years experience B2B marketing to scientists, or 3 years in marketing & B.S. in Chemistry or Biology)
- Experience with the full suite of marketing technology platforms and management of measurable marketing programs
- Demonstrates an understanding of clients’ products, industries and markets
- Superb written and verbal communication skill in English & Spanish
